Projects
REALISED PROJECTS:
Lifeguard Tower: We partnered with the local government to build a lifeguard tower on our beach to ensure the safety of our visitors and locals. The tower is staffed by trained lifeguards who are available to respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed.
Public Garbage Bins: Public garbage bins have been distributed throughout the village to discourage litter in the streets.
ONGOING PROJECTS:
Lifeguards: The association is funding a monthly salary for a lifeguard who is available to respond to emergencies.
Street & Beach Cleanups: We organize regular street cleanups to keep our village clean and free of litter. These cleanups are carried out by community members and paid for their time and services from association funds.
UPCOMING PROJECTS:
Waste Management: We are working to implement a waste management program to reduce the environmental impact of tourism in El Paredon.
Additional Lifeguard Towers: We intend on building more lifeguard towers and hiring more lifeguards to safely and securely monitor the entire tourist sector of the beach.
Green El Paredon: Planting trees on the beach and along the roads of El paredon to provide shade throughout the hottest hours of the day - and tocontribute to our village's biodiversity and improve air quality.
